  • It’s that time of year again when you’ll see the powder paint thrown into the throng of runners and walkers along the 5km circuit at our Dash of Colour event. Dash of Colour is back with extra SPARKLE for 2018 on Saturday 1st September! Our colour run is back with extra shine, extra twinkle and extra dazzle – not only will you be showered along the 5k route with multi-coloured powder paint to celebrate the work that the Hospice brings to the lives of our patients, but this year we will be adding gold and silver shimmery powder paint, in recognition of how important our supporters are in making the Hospice so special! YOUR SUPPORT HELPS US SPARKLE!     Hankley Common Golf Day

    Phyllis Tuckwell is very grateful to the Rotary Club of Farnham for organising this event in aid of local Hospice Care each year, and we are delighted to be working in partnership with them and Hankley Common Golf Club, to bring you a brilliant day out on one of the most sought after courses in the UK.

    Hankley Common Golf Club has one of the best inland course layouts in Britain. A beautiful example of a heathland championship course which has been voted number 41 in Golf Monthly’s Top 100 List for 2015/16, and is number 35 in Today’s Golfer Top 100 courses in England. Date: Tuesday, 9th October Time: 8am Venue: Hankley Golf Club, Tilford, Farnham, GU10 2DD Price: £320 per team of 4 Itinerary for the day:

    Join us for a delightful afternoon with a 2 course ladies lunch, followed by fascinating stories from guest speaker, former secretary to Winston Churchill Joy Hunter MBE. During the Second World War, Joy worked in Churchill's war cabinet, and was with the prime minister when he went to the Potsdam conference at the end of the conflict in 1945. Joy will speak about her fascinating career, and they'll be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of her talk. Raffle and silent auction on the day, and a small selection of local stalls will be selling goods prior to lunch.     Phyllis Tuckwell Beer Festival - Tankards for Tuckwell

    Join us for Phyllis Tuckwell’s Beer Festival, Tankards for Tuckwell!

    Join us to celebrate local care, with over 60 local beers and ciders, whilst supporting your local Hospice. There will also be live music, food available and a raffle. Date: Friday, 5th and Saturday 6th October Time: 7pm - 11pm (Fri) and 12pm - 4pm or 7pm - 11pm (Sat) Venue: The Empire, High Street, Aldershot, GU11 1DJ Tickets: £10 per ticket, which includes a glass and programme So whether you like a pale ale or a traditional bitter, a crystal rye or a porter, come and taste the hops for Hospice Care!

    If you like the sound of a leisurely ramble through stunning countryside, then why not join us for our annual Walk for the Wards event on Sunday 1st July 2018.  This year, the route starts More House School, Frensham, and takes walkers through miles of beautiful countryside.  The walk offers either a 5 or 10 mile route, and you'll even be rewarded with a free cream tea at the end! Date: Sunday 1st July 2018 Location: More House School, Frensham Time: start from 9.30am Registration fee: £12 for adults, £5 for children (U14). Please note it will be higher on the day.
